How to get involved

There are a range of ways in which you can build a relationship with Kent Food Hubs. Below are some of the more important ones.

Any member of the Kent Community can engage with KFHs and there are various ways in which they can do that. We would love to share KFHs, the benefits it creates, and the work that needs doing with as many people as possible. Be as engaged as you can; working with KFHs is a rewarding experience.

Become a consumer

This is a great way of supporting us. Ordering through any of the hubs increases our turnover AND our positive impacts on the food system and the local economy. How to go about this is explained here.

Become a casual member

These are our standard memberships for consumers. There are Consumer Members and Supporter Members.

Become a staff member

All staff members are offered to become members: consumer or supporter members. Hub coordinators need to be members in order to take on their role.

We do not have any jobs to advertise at the moment. However, if you are very interested in getting involved please get in touch via our contact form (bottom of the page) or send an Email enquiries [at] kentfoodhubs [dot] co [dot] uk

Become a trader

Traders need to be trader members in order to trade through one or more of the hubs.

Become a committed member

Comitted members are members that take on roles in the KFHs community. For example, they help packing boxes for other members, they get involved with any of the circles we run, volunteer to support the Annual General Meeting or at other events, and so on.

‚ÄčOur governance pages show a little more about where committed members are sometimes involved and if you are interested in getting involved please get in touch via our contact form (bottom of the page) or send an Email enquiries [at] kentfoodhubs [dot] co [dot] uk
